Today I linked my QQ mail account with my mail application. Since the POP3/IMAP service is naturally turned off, it is a little bit harder than usual to add a QQ mail to a third-party app.
In order to do so, you need to log into your QQ mail account and go to settings-account to enable it. QQ will send you a 12-character auth code to you once it is enabled, which can be used as your password elsewhere.
Once you have the auth code, you can begin adding your QQ mail account.First click on advanced setup.
Then add as an internet mail.
check and fill in the settings in the 2 pics below then all done.
I tend to believe QQ mail by default turn the POP/IMAP service off because of they want to block the usage of third-pary application to get access to their mail. This could be more likely because they want people use their own apps more rather than safety considerations. Yet there is still a way to do so.
